There are a number of boats offered for daily hire so why not pack up a picnic, chill the bubbly and set sail to explore the Broads National Park and all its natural beauty.
Beccles Lido boasts and open air, heated swimming pool measuring 30 metres by 15 metres, toddler and paddling pools all heated to a lovely 27 degrees and staffed by qualified lifeguards! The main pool also has a 1 metre springboard, pool slide and a giant inflatable aqua run and is open throughout the summer months.
Roos Hall is an impressive Grade 1 Listed 16th Century Manor House half a mile from the centre of Beccles. It is notorious for being one of the most haunted houses in the whole of England. From coaches pulled by headless horses, beautiful maidens whose stare can cause madness to those who see her, to the haunting souls of many wrongdoers hung from the gnarly oak, that is Nelson's tree after the Admiral himself. If that hasn't got you running back down the driveway pretty sharpish then visit you must as there are many more ghostly tales of apparitions and devilish goings on awaiting your presence. Enjoy if you dare!
Now whilst most of us would not dream of jumping out of a perfectly serviceable plain, there are others who seek the thrill that comes with throwing yourself from one mid-flight. If the latter is you why not visit Beccles Airfield for a spot of parachuting!
Sorry, there currently are no things to do in Beccles.
