Long Melford Olde Christmas Sunday 26th November 2017 from 12.00pm.      

A festive day in Long Melford full of old and new Christmas traditions. With no set time period the 'Olden Days' you choose is up to you.  Dickensian, Elizabethan, Medieval or any other period that takes your fancy the choice is yours.  Indulge your whimsical fancy and join in the fun.

Melford Olde Christmas  will be a festive afternoon of events and activities to get you in the spirit of Christmas and culminating in a Lantern Parade at dusk through the villageto the Little Green where a local child will pass through the Doorway To Christmas to help father Christmas and the Christmas Fairy switch on the lights on the big tree after which shops, pubs and restaurants will be open for business, so an extra chance to get some last minute shopping done.  A magical day for all the family so show your support and let us Melfordians show everyone that we know how to really celebrate Christmas in style!
